"Understanding among nations through music" is what one could call what our founder Harry Turné was thinking of when after 55 years of being a businessman he started a small enterprise on his 70th birthday. He not only wanted to support outstanding international boys' and youth choirs but also wanted to make their CDs well-known to the public and through choir music wanted to do something for the understanding among nations. Whether in the Cathedral of Berlin or in the Paul Church in Frankfurt, any time these choirs perform to enchant their listeners the churches are jam-packed. Today FESTIVAL already offers many CDs of international choirs which are regularly not available in normal specialised trade. And even in future FESTIVAL will further endeavour to win over international top choirs and make their CDs accessible to a larger audience.
